With more than 220 exhibitors showcasing vehicles, equipment and technology across four exhibition halls and a vibrant outdoor area, and close to 12,000 visitors, the fair became a powerful meeting place for the entire transport industry, says Dag Edvartsen, Project Manager for Transport 2026.
“Preliminary feedback from both exhibitors and partners has been very positive, and several are already reporting strong sales figures,” Edvartsen explains.
Expertise, people and community
Vehicle importers and equipment suppliers presented a wide range of products and services, using the arena to launch new solutions and innovations. Forsvaret (the Norwegian armed forces) took part with more than 2,000 square meters of equipment and vehicles, while the Transporthistorisk Forening (Norwegian transport history association) displayed around 30 classic and vintage vehicles.
The exhibition was officially opened by Minister of Transport Jon-Ivar Nygård, and Norges Lastebileier-Forbund (Norwegian Truck Owners Association) clearly demonstrated its ownership and ambitious vision for the event.
The program also featured engaging seminars, political debates, recruitment initiatives for schools, the Norwegian Chain Fitting Championship, a spectacular rescue demonstration – and not least, a highly enjoyable get-together party.

An important meeting place in turbulent times
“For the transport industry and Norges Lastebileier-Forbund (NLF), this year’s Transport exhibition has been an unconditional success,” says Kjell Olafsrud, Marketing Director at NLF.
“We need these kinds of meeting places where the industry can come together to experience new developments, discuss current challenges, attend seminars, and above all create social arenas in a turbulent time.”

«The transport industry in Norway is a close-knit community, and when it presents itself in this way, the collective impact is truly significant”, says Kjell Olafsrud, Norges Lastebileier-Forbund.
“On behalf of Norges Lastebileier-Forbund, I would like to thank everyone who contributed – exhibitors, speakers and visitors – and in particular highlight the excellent cooperation with the NOVA Spektrum team that made the exhibition possible,” Olafsrud concludes.
Thank you for now – and welcome back in 2029!
